Katerina Iliopoulou
Katerina Iliopoulou is a poet, artist and translator, born in Athens in 1967. Her poetry has been translated in many languages and has been featured in literary reviews and anthologies. She has participated in international writing and translation programs, festivals and Biennials. Her poetry books are Mister T., 2007 (first prize for a new author by the prestigious literary journal “Diavazo”), Asylum(2008) and The Book of soil (2011). As a member of the arts collective intothepill she has co-organized projects that bring together poetry and visual arts. She has translated poetry of Sylvia Plath, Mina Loy, Robert Hass and Ted Hughes. She is editor of a bilingual (Greek-English) anthology of contemporary Greek poetry (Karaoke Poetry Bar, 2007) and co-editor of the bilingual site www.greekpoetrynow.com
