3 journeys took place in the second half of October 2009 and ending in Istanbul at the time of the Istanbul Book Fair.

1 Ljubljana – Zagreb – (via Belgrade) Skopje - Thessaloniki – Istanbul

2 Bucharest – Sofia – Thessaloniki – Istanbul

3 Sarajevo – Belgrade – (via Skopje) Thessaloniki – Istanbul

Istanbul is the location where the three journeys converged and where the journey participants spent five days, meeting young Turkish authors, exploring the city and giving readings. A second meeting will be organised in Istanbul in 2010, as part of the Istanbul European Capital of Culture 2010 events. In later stages, depending on additional funding, we envisage organising other events in the participating countries, including the UK.
